Description: The Centre for Academic Activities was donated by Mr. Mo Ruoyu, alumnus of SJTU, in 1991, and the name of the centre was personally inscribed by Jiang Zemin in 1992. In April 2018, the Academic Center was completely renovated, including guest rooms in main buildings, conference venues and restaurants. Both the basic equipment and service environment were greatly improved, and it became the main reception and service centre together with Nansu Garden and Dazhiju Residence. The banquet hall on the second floor can accommodate 300 people, while the cafe on the first floor can accommodate 60,the private rooms on the second floor (two big and two small) can accommodate 40, and the restaurant on the first floor of Dazhijiu can accommodate 120.
